My order arrived with ice packs, but the product feels warm. Is it still safe to consume?

Yes. Ice packs are included to prevent prolonged exposure to extreme heat, but continuous refrigeration is not required during shipping. Our research shows that Doctor's Biome probiotic quality is unaffected by temperatures exceeding 90 degrees for up to 3-4 days. This allows us to reduce insulation and packaging waste while ensuring product quality.

Doctor's Biome is best when refrigerated and used within 120 days of manufacture date. The products are still safe to consume after 120 days, but we cannot guarantee that it contains the number of CFU's on the label
